Wooly, soft and huggable pillows they look like from outside. But hey it isnt any of your pillows; it is called a shih tzu puppy.
This ever so active and enthusiastic pups homeland is Tibet. But they were largely brought up in China as a toy dog for young females and kids. shih tzu puppy is often referred to as small lion because of their heavy and dense hair around the face and the majestic color on the torso.

Hardly even 1 foot tall these puppies are mostly grown up in door and will not require a much exercising either. However this doesnt mean they arent active like other toy dogs, in fact they could be named as the most active breed amongst all toy dogs. Walking upright with a majestic posture these proud little dogs wont give a damn to their size and will be acting with a noble presence. It is believed that these dogs are comparatively intelligent to some of their closely related breeds such as Yorkies.

shih tzu puppy however will require excessive care and grooming. It is a must that the conditions they live in are not hot and humid. The heavy cover of hair on them will make them more disease prone if not cleaned and bathed regularly.

Even though a shih tzu puppy has a good brain and would easily get the hang of anything they are too stubborn to learn anything. They will prefer pleasing their master in the easier way, hence will take a lot of effort to rain one at home.

Because of their active behaviors a small garden would be ideal to carry out the activities with your shih tzu puppy. They love outdoor playing and also wouldnt mind a short distance walk.
